sonnet from the Songs Of God with the first sonnet
from the Three Versions Of Life, you can clearly see
my bipolar disorder weighing out.
One poem is the devil speaking and the other
poem is God speaking. I think it to be an interesting
comparison, observance and study of
bipolar disorder in general.
These Sonnets were written by
me seventeen years apart.
From the Songs Of God
#1
While I was yet alone you came to me
With hopeful hinting of your creation
Such a wonder that you started living
The moment I first set my mind on you
And not that I could be caught by surprise
But the sight of you took my breath away
So I gave you my blessing on that day
Then wiped the tears of gladness from my eyes
To see your beautiful and perfect view
Standing there before me unforgiving
Life that I created for relation
To be at my side for eternity
Ere you were living I had to believe
That you in me wanted also to live
From The Three Versions Of Life
#1
I shall be judged for evil I have done,
And then be bound in chains with a black mass,
But I again shall rise to victory,
After a thousand years and not before,
Just as was prophesied so long ago,
To torment,and hence to be tormented,
The gnashing of my teeth shall quake the earth,
Raging fire shall exhale with my hot breath,
To burn all armies who are intended,
On marching my domain a holy foe,
Outside all boundaries of my godly core,
And just as Jesus walked across the sea,
So I shall walk across the sea of glass,
To take my place upon my golden throne,
As I fell the Archangel Lucifer,
So shall you all fall with me to the fire.
